Marine steam boiler type HDK 1.000
For the BLS shipping company from Switzerland, we delivered a high pressure marine steam boiler type HDK-M 1,000 with built-in steam superheater in 2018. The steam boiler was installed on 1 December 2018 in Thun, canton Bern, Switzerland in the “DS Spiez”. With this steam generator and a new twin steam engine of the steam locomotive and machine factory DLM AG in Winterthur, Switzerland, the ship DS Spiez, built in 1901 as a screw steamers with coal firing, in the future as a modern steamship with automated firing on the Swiss Lake of Thunersee.
