Hot water boiler

We delivered a hot water boiler to the automotive manufacturer Audi in Györ (Hungary) and VW in Bratislava (Slovakia) via a German industrial supplier. Audi and VW decided intentionally on the boiler systems from BBS GmbH due to the fact that the systems come up to the demands of security, availability and economic efficiency. The boiler systems are used for specific processes of paintwork.

Thermal Fluid Heater

Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden charges BBS GmbH with supply of two (2) Thermal Fluid Heater HG 700.

The Thermal Fluid plant is served as primary power source for the generation of pure steam. The pure steam is required for the sterilization machine and air conditioning of sterilization rooms. Technical data HG 700 Thermal output 700 kW Design temperature 300°C Design pressure 10 bar.

Hot Water Boiler

For the expansion of the heating system in the airport Borispol the management has decided to order of a 10 MW hot water boiler from BBS GmbH Freiberg a. N.

Economic viability and safety was decisive to accept BBS boiler, which is equipped with a gas burner and an economizer. Technical data HWK 10000 Thermal output 10 MW Design temperature 115°C Design pressure 6 bar.

Direct fired clean steam system

A direct fired clean steam system from stainless steel was delivered for a foodstuff disinfection plant from our long-term strategic partner, SteamLab GmbH of Hamburg. This system was put to use by Bejo Zaden B.V., Holland, one of the world's leaders in the field of seed development and production.

The system comprises a rapid steam generator 500 kg/h as three-pass instantaneous water heater, a high pressure steam vessel with 500 litre capacity, a feed water tank, a water treatment system and a sludge cooler. The complete system was prefabricated in the factory and preassembled on a stainless steel base frame as a packaged unit.

Fluidised bed furnace and pyrolysis reactor

Fluidised bed furnace and pyrolysis reactor are main components of the biomass combined heating and power plant constructed on the industrial site of Bauer Holzenergie GmbH in Bad Rappenau, in order to generate electrical energy and district heating from wood.

Total burner capacity: approx. 14 MW Electrical output: 2 MW

The pyrolysis reactor (diameter 3.2, height 8 m, weight 8 t) was designed for a maximum permissible operating overpressure of 1 bar and a max. perm. operating temperature of 390 °C. The water-cooled 5 MW fluidised bed furnace (Lx W x H: 11.5 x 4.2 x 4.2 m, weight 35 t) was designed for a perm. operating overpressure of 0.5 bar and a perm. operating temp. of 390 °C. Marine steam boiler

Working in cooperation with Gietech GmbH of Weyhe we equipped a fishing vessel from the Russian fleet with a marine steam boiler with an output of 12 t/h. The ship was fitted with the latest western European technology at a dockyard in Latvia. It is now a floating factory that processes its catch to produce the finished product whilst at sea. The first marine boiler was delivered to HU-DONG-Shipyard in Shanghai back in 1988. At that time the Chinese refinery vessel was equipped with two BAY thermal boilers each with 6 MW capacities. The Dalian Shipyard company then ordered a further twelve vertical combination steam boilers for waste heat from diesel and heavy fuel oil in the port. In the recent past we equipped the drilling rig D-6, operated by Lukoil, Russia in the Baltic Sea, with four waste heat boilers for the Caterpillar diesel power generator and two auxiliary boilers. We also supplied two thermal oil boiler systems and one electric steam generator to the stationary rig belonging to Lukoil in the Barents Sea. The Massarah yacht in Monte Carlo is also fitted with a steam boiler from our factory.

Special steam boiler

The management of Kliniken Ludwigsburg-Bietigheim GmbH, together with the operator EKL (subsidiary company of Freiburger GWE Gesellschaft für wirtschaftliche Energieversorgung mbH), has once again opted for a special steam boiler from our company.

Within the framework of expanding the boiler house we supplied a products steam boiler with a capacity of 5,000 kg/h. The special feature of this water tube boiler is that its water/steam content is very low in relation to its capacity. Due to its qualification as a products boiler this system could be installed directly in the basement of the hospital. This avoids any requirement for erecting a separate boiler house. Since its commissioning, our system has been supplying the kitchen, the laundry, the sterilisation machines and the air-conditioning system with steam.
